Early-bird Tickets are now on sale for BlockDown Festival: Croatia, an unforgettable gathering of Web3, NFT and Metaverse communities alongside the world’s first gamified, NFT-enabled festival. This May 11 to 13, the three-day experience will provide attendees access to a unique collection of immersive experiences, incisive and informative discussion panels and enviable parties that will be bringing some of the most creative and ambitious people on the planet together — all for a celebration of Web3 culture, the Metaverse and decentralization.

For the first time, NFTs will be at the core of an event, functioning as tickets, experience passes and collectibles, which will allow attendees to immerse themselves in the BlockDown experience.

Centered around BlockDown’s exclusive resort, there will be five unique realms for attendees to explore, with special, unlockable, eye-catching portals into the future that have NFTs built in. The portals are located around the different realms, which can give holders access to an exciting variety of unique experiences over the course of a mesmerizing three days.

BlockDown Festival: Croatia takes place between May 11 and 13 in the beautiful city of Šibenik on the Dalmatian coast.

All attendees will be taking part in an otherworldly adventure on one of Europe’s most beautiful coastlines. As part of the gamified experience, they will unlock epic and unforgettable experiences with a BlockDown-connected app. As players complete different quests, new experience-enabling NFTs will be dropped to ticket holders, rewarding those who fully engross themselves in the world’s greatest celebration of Web3.

The BlockDown 2022 multiverse will be divided into five realms, including “Medieval Village,” “Bullish Beach Club,” “Cyber City,” “Mystical Fairy Forest” and St. Michael’s Fortress. The first of its kind, players will be challenged to go head-to-head to complete the BlockDown Experience, with a live leaderboard stationed in the center of the festival throughout the three days for players to check their progress and how they compare to their opponents.

With three different ticket categories available for the event, Ultra Ticket holders will be rewarded with pop-up experiences, NFT galleries, project showcases, performances, exhibitions and informative panels and workshops by high-profile Web3 experts.

Ultimate Ticket holders will also have access to the highly anticipated, high-profile music performances from famous musicians, while Universal Ticket holders will wine and dine in the unique “Mystical Forest” VIP Lounge and be granted access to a live concert at St. Michael’s Fortress, a historic medieval castle at the heart of the city of Šibenik with a breathtaking view of the Croatian coast.

Ultimate Ticket holders can enjoy a special night at St. Michael’s Fortress.

Erhan Korhaliller, founder of the event and CEO of the leading Web3 PR agency EAK Digital, said: “We have been inspired to host a three-day festival celebrating all things Web3 culture, as we believe there is a need for a different type of event in our industry.”

“As well as top-level speakers and panels, as we always have at BlockDown events, we are also organizing incredible activities and live music for our attendees to enjoy. What we’re offering is more than just a conference, but an incredible experience in one of the world’s most beautiful countries.”

BlockDown Festival: Croatia 2022 will be the event’s seventh since its founding in April 2020 at the height of the pandemic, when the event was conceived to bring the blockchain and cryptocurrency community together at a time of global isolation. Since then, the event has come an incredible distance. The most recent event in December explored the topics of data ownership, privacy, Web3, personal information security and self-governance, and played host to a historic discussion between Polkadot founder Gavin Wood and renowned whistleblower Edward Snowden.

With 50% of rooms already sold out in the exclusive BlockDown Hotel, attendees are encouraged to book rooms in Hotel Ivan early to secure their spot.

Limited early-bird tickets are available starting at €750 for the three-day BlockDown Festival experience exclusively via Yellow Heart.
