Web3 infrastructure company AAG has launched a new decentralized applications marketplace, MetaOne dApp Store, designed to simplify onboarding NFT projects and metaverse products.
MetaOne dApp Store also aims to become a community-curated project, with an ecosystem that is self-sufficient within the greater infrastructure of Web3.
With its array of more than 1100 dapps, at launch, this ambitious project seeks to become a one stop shop for all things crypto, going beyond gaming and decentralized exchanges. The team behind it is very committed to the project and puts a greater focus on the safety and sustainability.
Focusing on the vision of a community-led ecosystem, MetaOne dApp Store excludes any dApp at high risk of rug pulls, scams, or potential ponzi schemes. Users are also guaranteed to land on the right website to avoid phishing scams.
A useful feature in the MetaOne dApp Store will be informative descriptions and categorizations (e.g. type of dApp, blockchain, supported platform(s), etc.) to learn about a particular dApp. With this, the platform offers a comprehensive user experience to dapp users, allowing them to seamlessly explore and track applications and assets. The content will be available in written and video form while also offering the latest news and events about the individual dApps.
AAG has several releases lined up for the remainder of 2022 with its next major product launch will be their wallet in Q4 of this year. The MetaOne dApp Store will also be integrated into the MetaOne wallet, allowing users to connect their wallet directly to dApps. The easy-to-use wallet will provide a one-stop-shop for the users’ metaverse and blockchain identity, which is one more much-needed UX improvement for using Web3 apps.
“We’re very excited to be launching the MetaOne dApp Store, giving our wallet users a gateway into Web3 that makes their wallet more than a simple app for managing crypto assets. The curated list will help users, both those new to the blockchain and OGs, navigate the rough seas of Web3, where a scam is always, unfortunately, just around the corner,” said Jack Vinijtrongjit, CEO & Co-Founder at AAG.
AAG, standing for “Achip and Achair Global”, has been launching a number of new products to expand beyond the play-to-earn (P2E) games that helped make its name, to build out its position as a platform for Webs and related business infrastructure. MetaOne dApp Store potentially represents its biggest leap yet away from the gaming space.
The company is also expanding its bet on the Metaverse after a successful year of providing value to underprivileged people who used AAG to benefit from the Play2Earn revolution.
